L554 Reusable Manual Resuscitators are autoclavable rear-fill manual resuscitation systems that are available in adult, child and infant sizes. The L554 features a silicone bag that provides an excellent “feel” of the patient’s respiratory response, and the durable polysulfone patient valve and connectors provide long life at autoclave temperatures of 270°F (132°C). When connected to a metered low flow oxygen source, the L554 resuscitator can deliver FiO2 concentrations between 73% and 97%. Used in conjunction with an L471 bag refill valve, it ensures 100% oxygen is delivered during resuscitation. Child and infant bags are available with an optional pressure relief valve, which activates at 45 cm H2O and can be over-ridden by the operator.
