ORCA Foam Absorbable Hemostatic Gelatin Sponge is a highly effective hemostatic agent that rapidly controls bleeding, significantly reducing intraoperative bleeding and overall surgery time. This product is characterized by its non-toxic, non-allergenic, non-immunogenic, and non-pyrogenic properties. ORCA Foam is gamma-sterilized and comes in a convenient, ready-to-tear sterile blister or envelope packaging. Unlike many hemostatic agents, it does not require special storage conditions. The sponge is composed of highly purified, pH-neutral pharmaceutical gelatin of porcine origin, providing a hemostatic effect suitable for controlling bleeding and serving as packing material. It can absorb blood equivalent to approximately 50 times its weight and is completely absorbed in vivo within approximately three weeks or less.
