SilverSense SDF is an evidence-based solution that helps deliver better patient care by alleviating hypersensitivity and providing benefits that will allow your patients to comfortably wait for restorative treatment. With SilverSense SDF, there is no fear of ‘black teeth’ as it does NOT stain healthy enamel or dentin ( though infected lesions may turn darker).
A blue-tinted 38% silver diamine fluoride solution that is FDA approved as a professional-use tooth desensitizer. Silver diamine fluoride has been used internationally for decades due to its antimicrobial and desensitizing properties. As a desensitizer, SilverSense SDF forms insoluble precipitates with calcium or phosphate in the dentinal tubules to block nerve impulses.

· If SDF contacts infected dentin, it will harden and the restoration may be placed on top
