Seal&Protect™ seals dentine like a pit and fissure sealant seals enamel. It protects against toothbrush abrasion, acidic consumption and because it contains triclosan, it slows down the growth of bacteria forming on this surface. It also protects the exposed root dentine from toothbrush abrasion. Once applied to root dentine, this polymerized coat mechanically reinforces dentine, increasing its surface hardness.
•Antimicrobial effect with triclosan reduces plaque formation and fights against caries-associated bacteria
•Desensitizer - allows treatment of hypersensitive cervical areas
•Fluoridation - releases a highly effective amine fluoride, giving added protection to the tooth

Changing the way clinicians treat dentin hypersensitivity by using the elements that are naturally found in the tooth, (calcium and phosphate) and restoring them to the tooth in the form of hydroxyapatite plugs that immediately start forming in the dentinal tubules upon application. Then, over the next several weeks, even after the patient has left the office, these plugs continue to penetrate further down the tubules to create an expanded zone of protection. It’s also considered highly biocompatible as there are no methacrylates or soft-tissue irritating chemicals used during production.
