Provides temperature readings in about 1 second and meets ASTM E1965-98 standards for accuracy. No skin contact is required to minimize the risk of cross contamination. Compact, lightweight unit measures 3.5” long and weighs 1.6oz. for easy portability, includes lanyard. Operates on rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery with micro USB cable included to provide 1,000 measurements on a single charge and 300,000 measurements lifetime. Additional features include color-coded LCD, audible beep to signal completed measurement, 9-read memory, and °F/°C switchable display with 71.6° to 109.9°F ± 0.4° and 22.0° to 43.3°C ± 0.2° ranges.
