Packaged as a set of 4 , these chisels are used for lateral ridge augmentation to increase bone support for implant insertion. They enable the insertion of an implant at the time of augmentation avoiding the delay to permit consolidation of a graft. Chisels can be used in conjunction with screw type bone expanders to facilitate bone manipulation. The ridge splitting chisels come in widths of 3 and 6 mm. Each width is available in two blade thicknesses; 0.5 mm and 2 mm. The different blade thicknesses allow the use of the chisels in the majority of narrow ridges. The blades are calibrated with score lines marked at 2mm increments. Made in the USA from 100% stainless steel.
