PerioStom is an FDA-cleared, non-drug, innovative treatment with an advanced delivery system. It's a proprietary formulation of chitosan microspheres intended for the protection of oral mucosa due to irritation, trauma, or following iatrogenic procedures such as scaling and root planing. It's biocompatible, has strong effect against periodontal pathogens, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory. 
*Requires the PerioStom FS Cartridge Dispenser for application, #860-PS2002.
