Perfecta® is a dental whitening gel that contains 11%, 16% or 21% carbamide peroxide, which is an oxidizing agent that penetrates the porosities in the rod-like crystal structure of enamel and bleaches stain deposits in the dentin. Use 11% for mild to moderate stains; 16% for severe stains, heavy tobacco and tetracycline; 21% for tetracycline stains and fluorosis.
